Stand up Against Arizona Immigration Law SB1079

I lived in Tempe, Az, for several years, and let me first say that I found it to be a beautiful state, filled with warm, compassionate people.

I understand the chalenges that are faced by Arizona and other border states; and YES, the federal Government has failed to adequately address the very real problems that come when a country looses control over it’s borders.  After reading the Law SB1079 I just don’t find it consistent with the spirit of America.

Peter Wyatt If cops are required to pull over and interrogate people who

look undocumented then they should be pulling over everyone including people

with fair skin. I have no idea how to tell an undocumented Canadian or

Russian from an American citizen. Same goes for Asians and people of

African decent. Of course to me anyone livi…ng here is an immigrant the

question is how long ago (years? generations?) did your family immigrate here? America is a land of immigrants and

we are all Americans!

And to give just regular officers authority to just act as htey have been trained to do as they want with no disciplinary action, and remove or rip apart families , just cause is abuse of au…thority and devistatingly disturbing ! to even think hispanics will not petition this , They got another thaing coming !
