See MoreA fellow teacher told me about Urban Insurance. She said she had them for several years and was happy. I hate when I have to go to a website and basically have to do all their work for them. That s how my last insurance place was, so I was glad that when I called Urban I could actually speak to a living person (and not someone in India).They gave me a good price, and answered any question I had.About 3 weeks ago, I came out to find someone had hit my car and knocked off my side mirror. I got an estimate and it turned out less than my deductible. When I told Urban Auto that I expected them to say; Since it s below your $500, there is nothing we can do; but instead the guy told me to fax him the estimate.
About 4 hours later I get a call, the guy tells me that the shop I went to is one that he knows and that he called the shop and got them to do the job for $90 less.
It s not just the $90 bucks, it s that they totally did not have to do that for me. As a teacher I always reward students for extra effort, same thing here.

My wife accidentally sent our car insurance payment to the electric company; by time we got in straightened out, Geico canceled our insurance. Figures that next day I got stopped by the cops. (The Arlington Hights cops never give you a break).
My car get impounded.
A friend tells me to call his guy at urban insurance. They got my policy started over the phone, emailed me the proof to take to th e pound. And by the way they saved me $405 over Geico.
I looked at the two policies next to each other, I could not find any difference in the insurance.
All I know was the mony I saved was enough to get my car out and get me back to work.

Then I called Urban Agency and they got me monthly payments of just $64 a month. They were very helpful and emailed proof of insurance to the dealer while I waited.

Easy and best of all it was$260 bucks less than my old Allstate policy.I fogot to list Ford moter crenit: so I called them spoke to Teona and she added them and faxed a copy proving it to me and to Ford.
