We’ve Been Saving People Money in Chicago Since 1960!
Our office is in Chicago. We live in, and send our children to schools in Chicago.
We eat and shop at Chicagoland businesses, and root for the Bears.
Bottom line is we’re local and care about you.
My name is Larry Lubell, and I take care of my customers the same way my Dad did when he started this agency over 50 years ago.
As URBAN INSURANCE AGENCY has grown to one of the larger auto insurance agencies in Chicago, we have never lost sight
of our commitment to personal service. We take pride that, after many years in business, we are providing car insurance
to the children and even grand children of some of our first auto insurance customers.

Really nice people that saved me a bunch of money on my car insurance. I found urban online they gave me a really good price; so i went down to their office and got my proof of insurance.
I’ve been happy with their service, and I can’t beat the price. In the past 6 months I changed my phone #, changed cars, added a driver and everytime I call them they are nice on the phone they get it done and email me the proof.
$415 less than any other place I tried. I moved here to start school, my agent back home could not do insurance in Illinois. I tried Progressive and Geico because I heard of them, but they were WAY more than what I had back home. Urban was the cheapest place I found online. I mean by a lot!!! They list their phone number on their web page. Maybe that sounds like no “BIG DEAL”, but so many places today don’t, and I want to know I can talk to someone if I have a question. I got a quote online it was so much lower then what I had been hearing; so I called Urban, got same price over the phone. A woman named Sharon helped me, when I called back to pay, I was able to talk to her again. Good price and real living people and none of this “Press 1 for this” Press 2 for that” which drives me nuts.
